slow drift

“To sense this world of waters known to the creatures of the sea we must shed our human perceptions of
length and breadth and time and place, and enter vicariously into a universe of all-pervading water."
- Rachel Carson, Undersea, 1937

slow drift is a short film in which shifting colors evolve into a fluid environment. Using Go-Pro footage and a three-act narrative structure, the film prioritizes non-human perspectives on screen and blurs the line between the observer and the observed.
